Dec 15th – Baker Grissom at 8pm
After years on the Nashville circuit honing his songwriting chops with some of Country Music’s finest musicians, Baker Grissom’s first releases were met with critical and commercial success, gaining millions of streams nationwide. Shortly after, the Arkansas native partnered with industry legend and Grammy award winner Ben Fowler (Eric Clapton, Rascal Flatts, Maddie & Tae, Kelsea Ballerini, Jameson Rodgers, Kris Kristofferson, Lynyrd Skynyrd) to produce Grissom’s sophomore album, which will be hitting platforms later this year. Baker’s newest single Beer Joint has been making waves as a feel good party-country anthem that’s irresistible to Spotify playlists everywhere.
Jan 19th – CJ Solar at 8pm
Amassing many premier writing credits (including multiple #1 hits such as Morgan Wallen’s “Up Down” and Jameson Rodgers’ “Some Girls”), CJ Solar has been making waves in music city ever since his critically acclaimed 2016 debut EP Hard One to Turn Down. Over the years he’s gathered numerous awards as both a songwriter and performer, including a feature as “New Artists You Need to Know” by Rolling Stone Country and “Independent Artist of the Year” by Music Row. Solar is represented by Kinkead Entertainment Agency in Nashville, and promises to bring his heavy hitting rock/country sound to Tin Roof.
Jan 26th – Zachary Scott Kline at 8pm
Nashville’s country-folk performer Zachary Scott Kline made the leap from football to music six years ago when he relocated from California to Tennessee. As one of the highest-rated quarterback recruits ever to play for the University of California, ZSK opted to pursue a career in music as a “truth-teller”, favoring to express himself with deep narratives in his music reminiscent of Jason Isbell. His debut album Drugs, Jesus, and Fireworks has established his footprint in music city, with even more music primed to release at the start of his Nashville Hits the Roof tour.
Feb 9th – Lauren Watkins at 8pm
Currently represented by The Neal Agency and well established in Nashville’s songwriting community, Lauren Watkins returns to the Tin Roof circuit to showcase her newest material. She’s been featured as the writer behind multiple country music tracks and has a publishing deal with industry heavy-hitters Songs & Daughters / Big Loud Publishing. Watkins’ sound is characterized by top-tier musical writing as well as her sultry, whiskey-on-the-rocks country vocals.
